So the question is: who bamboozled Time‘s cover artist by claiming to be Richard Strauss? I vote for a time-traveling Ian Richardson.

  1. Hmm. It sure looks like Strauss to me. Maybe the eyebrows on the drawing are a big odd, but the other basic features are still there. I imagine that the drawing was done a few years before the photograph.
